How to Use Our Worm Tea
and Worm Castings Extract
We brew a Worm Tea Concentrate and a Worm Castings Extract. Both are perfectly safe to use at full strength but to make a little go a long way you can mix it anywhere from 10 parts dechlorinated water to 1 part worm tea/extract concentrate to 5 parts dechlorinated water to 1 part worm tea/extract concentrate.
Our Worm Tea is packed with microbial life and must be used within 24 hours of purchase.
Our Worm Castings Extract has a shelf life of 4 to 8 weeks.
Recommended application for foliar spray and soil drench every 3-4 weeks.
Foliar Spray
Spray the tops and undersides of leaves and the stems.
Soil Drench
Apply our worm tea/extract to the soil by watering it in with the concentration strength you choose.
Root Soak
Mix 1 part tea/extract to 1 or 2 parts water and sit the transplant's roots in the worm tea for 15-30 minutes then plant as usual. Dilute that tea/extract to a 5 to 1 or 10 to 1 ratio and water the soil around the transplant.
Again, you can not use too much or too high of a concentration, it will not burn or harm your plants leaves, stems or roots so don't stress about getting the ratio perfect.
You must use chlorine free water otherwise the chlorine will kill all of those helpful microbes and what’s the point of that?
Worm tea is full of millions of living microorganisms and it is essential to use it immediately while it’s at its strongest potency. Use it all within 24 hours of purchase.

How to Use Our Worm Castings
When Planting
Spread 1 gallon of castings per 30 sq. ft. of garden area and work it 2” deep into the soil. Saturate the area with dechlorinated water to mix the minerals into your garden’s soil.
Transplanting Seedings/Potted Plants
Dig your hole 3 times larger than the root ball of your plant. Put a large handful of castings in the hole and place the plant on the castings. Fill the rest of the hole with the soil that you already mixed with castings. Water thoroughly with dechlorinated water.
For Use with Existing Plants
Work the castings into the soil around the plant and water thoroughly.
